Instagram profile picture size
Optimum size : 110px x 110px
Maximum resolution: 180px x 180px

Generaly:
Instagram square size recommended: 1080px x 1080px
but you should upload the image at the max resolution allowed, 2048px x 2048px

From beginning instagram support only 612x612px resolution
Then 640x640px
But about in the middle of the year instagram 2015 started support squares with 600x600px and 1080x1080px sides.

Instagram has now relaxed its square „obsession“
Now it displays squares with 1080px sides

Instagram landscape (horizontal) dimensions: 1080px x 566px

Now instagram support landscape (horizontal) Aspect Ratios up to 1.91:1

Maximum duration should be 10 seconds
